Those of you that know me and our Ella, will remember how many times a day she fed and the length of time she fed for (for those of you that dont know me..............i had one boob or the other out pretty much all day) She is now coming up 16 months and on one 20 minute feed in a morning. What a difference.
Im letting Ella decide when she want's to finish our breastfeeding relationship, and when she does i know i will feel proud to say i fed her from, a quite bumpy, start to end (probably though tear filled eyes, but hey that's part of being a mam)

Well done you! I can't believe how time flies, Catherine is coming up for 11 months now. It doesn't seem real that she'll be One in a few weeks time!

We started out on our morning feed, ella had a little suck, then came off my boob, she went back but instead of latching on she kissed my boob, waved at it then picked up a book and started looking at the picture's.(i didnt think anything of it) The next morning i offered her a feed, but she was not interested, she just wanted me to read her a story. the next morning the same happened again. That was about 4 weeks ago and since then she has shown no interest in feeding. I just wanted to share my final feed with you all, i couldnt have asked for a better end to our breastfeeding relationship. It ws exactly as i wanted to stop feeding, it being ella's choice to stop not mine. (and the kiss and the wave well i couldnt have asked for more)

That's lovely, and to have such a clear memory of it as well! Write it down (or print it off) before it gets lost in the mists of time.
We're now on one morning feed only as well, so it's just a matter of time...
